Tell us about the book.
A manuscript looking for a home, a project that needs finishing, or a question about what we do — all of it reaches the same inbox, and a person reads it.

The fastest way to reach us, and the only one we monitor properly.
- Where we are
Southwold, Ontario
Canada. We work with creators worldwide and always have.
- What to expect
A reply from a person
We are small, so it takes as long as it takes. It will not be a form letter.
What to include
We read everything ourselves, so the more you tell us up front, the faster you get a useful answer rather than a request for more information.
If you are submitting work
The title, the format — comic book, graphic novel, novel, novella — the length in pages or words, and whether it is finished. A short description of what the story is: two or three sentences, not a synopsis. And if there is a sample we can read, a link to it.
Please see submissions first. It will tell you what we are looking for, and save you sending us something we were never going to be right for.
If you want production work
Tell us which part you need — editing, cover illustration, interior art, lettering, translation or storyboarding — along with the page or word count, and when you need it by.
If you are not sure which you need, say that instead. Working it out is part of the conversation, and it costs nothing.
If you are a shop, school or library
Tell us roughly what you are looking for and who it is for. Our catalogue runs from all-ages superheroes through to horror, so the age range is the single most useful thing you can give us. Educators and librarians: we would genuinely rather have this conversation directly than have you guess from a catalogue page.
If you are asking about rights
Film, television, translation or foreign-language rights to a title we publish — tell us which title, and which territory or medium.
What happens next
A person reads it. We are a small press, so that is a promise about care rather than about speed: a reply takes as long as it takes, and we would rather send you a considered answer than a fast one.
If we are not the right home for your project, we will say so plainly instead of leaving you waiting. Where we can point you somewhere better, we will.

What submitting to us means:
We do not charge reading fees for submissions, and we never will - but remember, we cannot guarantee that we will publish your work.
If you are looking to hire us to help get your book market ready for publication by a third party, we will get back to you with a quote as soon as we can.
